This presentation is designed to help attorneys and other non-clinical professionals work with emotionally distressed clients. The presentation has three goals: 1) Identify emotionally distressed clients 2) Learn simple interventions as non-clinicians to help emotionally distressed clients 3) Identify when emotionally distressed clients need referrals to mental health staff or clinics.
