Summary

Chronic stress comes with the territory of practicing law. Unmanaged, that can have serious health consequences. In this program, you will learn techniques to manage stress & change your response to it. Because meditation changes for the better the way our minds, bodies, & emotions respond to stress, it is the cornerstone of the program. You will have the opportunity to learn & practice basic relaxation & meditation techniques. Easy lifestyle changes to mitigate stress will also be covered. Mediation has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, & other stress-related issues. It improves our sense of well-being & can deliver professional benefits such as improved efficiency & concentration, better listening & communication skills, improved conflict resolution skills, & improves relationships & fosters compassion for ourselves & others.
